Oncology Massage is gentle, restorative and relaxing. Specialized Oncology Massage is endorsed by The American Cancer Society and major hospitals (such as MD Anderson and Sloan Kettering) when provided by a licensed therapist trained to work with people with cancer. Therapists trained in oncology massage will know the right questions to ask and adjustments to make in order to work with bone mets, lymphedema, and the side effects of medications, chemo, or radiation.
I focus my attention on creating a gentle, nurturing environment for you to relax into.

Swedish Massage is a deeply relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. My work is deep with a compassionate and gentle touch. Swedish Massage combines lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation.
The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity and greater flexibility. My Swedish Massage has deep tissue modalities blended into the session to address chronic pain without inflicting pain as you receive your massage.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
$115 per hour
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, rhythmic massage-like movement, performed with a great deal of precision which improves the activity of the lymph vascular system. In addition to increasing lymph flow, MLD also has a pain relieving effect and can be used with recent trauma, such as sport injuries. Clients find the techniques soothing and relaxing with no side effects. It requires a well-trained therapist to obtain good results. (That would be me!)
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is an effective tool in dealing with Lymphedema, a life-long side effect some experience after their treatment for cancer.
